X- Aero Training Academy was born in 2022 following the merging of SAF Training Academy and Azur Hélicoptères approved training organizations (ATO).

Initially specialized in advanced training, SAF Training Academy has expanded its training offer and capabilities by acquiring in 2019 Azur Hélicoptères Training Center, the French leader for initial pilot training.

XTA is now one of the major players in helicopter training in Europe, offering EASA-approved training as well as customized training based on the operational experience of SAF Aerogroup subsidiaries.
